Booking Through Thursday #1 - Five Books Only

This week's question: If you had to pick only 5 books to read ever again, what would they be and why?

My picks in no particular order:

1. Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
This is my favorite book of all time. I've read it a handful of times and it just never gets old to me. I don't think I will ever get tired of this book. Little Women is a wonderful novel about family, sisterly love, growing up, falling in love, and loss.

My favorite character is Jo, not because we share the same name nickname,
(although I love that fact), it's because she's ambitious, brilliant, loving, and stubborn.

2. The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom
Mitch Albom sure knows how tug at your heartstrings. I like that a lot.

This novel is beautifully written, creative, and thoughtful. There's a lot about
appreciating and enjoying your life and the people you have, while you have them in this lifetime.

It's also about connections, our lives being linked to that of other people. And how even the little things that happen, the small events can affect the rest of our lives.
