Day 14 - Aside from Katniss and Peeta, who is/are your favorite tribute(s)?

Finnick, Beetee, and Wiress.

I like that Finnick turned out to be completely different from what you would've thought when you first meet him. I like that he looked out for Mags in the arena. I also like that he turned out to be a good friend to Katniss.

Of course I admire Beetee and Wiress for their intelligence. They were just so brilliant! Also, I liked that Beetee understood Wiress like no one else could.

30 Days of The Hunger Games - Day 12 and 13. . . CONTAINS SPOILERS!!!

Day 12 - A character you wish hadn't died

Finnick Odair. I don't think that was necessary. Just when we finally see that he's an awesome person, and happiness was within reach, it happened.

And I wish it hadn't. But there you go.

Day 13 - A character you wish had died

Plutarch. He's annoying. Why couldn't he have been expendable?

30 Days of The Hunger Games - Day 10

Day 10 -  Peeta or Gale

I like Peeta more than I like Gale.

Although I think Peeta's and Katniss' story line was kind of predictable, I still prefer Peeta over Gale.

Those who know me and understand my undying love bread and baking, might say that I like Peeta because he's a baker, and nothing more. But it's not true.

I like Peeta because he's a good character. He is genuinely kind and caring. I'm not saying Gale is a bad person or that he's not likable. I just like Peeta for who is he is and how different he is from others.

I like that Peeta's character complements Katniss'. Like it is said in Mockingjay, Katniss has a lot of fire on her own, and Peeta's calm and love complements her very well.

So, what do you think? Peeta or Gale?

Day 9 - Your favorite quote

30 Days of The Hunger Games - Day 8

Day 8 - The character you are most like

Katniss Everdeen

Katniss and I have similar personalities. That's the extent of it really. Obviously, I'm not a hunter, a Hunger Games tribute and victor, or even a citizen of Panem.

Both Katniss and I are stubborn, hard headed, not fond of following people's orders. Katniss will do anything to protect the people she cares about. I'm also like that, but to a different degree.

I'm also quite independent like Katniss. Again, not to the same extent as she is, I don't hunt and kill my own food, but I have managed to take care of myself and support my education.

While I don't have trouble recognizing people's emotions like Katniss, I think sometimes I do miss some social cues like she does, and then some awkwardness hangs in the air.

30 Days of The Hunger Games - Day 6 and 7

Day 6 - A scene that made you laugh or smile 

The first thing that comes to mind is the scene where Katniss and Peeta were in the cave. 

It did not make me laugh but it did make me smile. I found it amusing. 

Specifically it was when Peeta was sick and Katniss was taking care of him. She was trying to figure out what else she can do to help him. She was trying to remember something Haymitch said, and then she made her move and the gift from Haymitch appeared. That was a good scene.  

Day 7 - A scene that made you cry 

I cried when I read the scene where Rue died. 

It happened so fast. It was so sad. 

And then Katniss held her in her arms and laid her down with flowers. That was so touching and the song was beautiful. 

I don't think I'm the only one who thought so.

30 Days of The Hunger Games - Day 5

Day 5 - Your favorite fight/battle scene 

My favorite battle or fight scene has to be the last bits of battle scenes in Mockingjay. 

You know, the scenes where Katniss and other soldiers were making their way through the Capitol. I thought those scenes were very exciting. It was heart pounding. You never knew what was going to happen at the next corner they turn. 

That's all I'm going to say, no spoilers. Hehe.
