Musing Mondays is a meme hosted by Should Be Reading
This week's musing is a random rant about books/reading.
Last week I heard about a new book; We Were Liars by E. Lockhart. I've never heard of this author before, but based on the description of this book, I want to get my hands on a copy as soon as possible.
Also, it seems that every book-tuber and people with Twitter only have high praises for this book.
Here's the snippet from Goodreads:
A beautiful and distinguished family.
A private island.
A brilliant, damaged girl; a passionate, political boy.
A group of four friends—the Liars—whose friendship turns destructive.
A revolution. An accident. A secret.
Lies upon lies.
True love.
The truth.
We Were Liars is a modern, sophisticated suspense novel from National Book Award finalist and Printz Award honoree E. Lockhart.
Read it.
And if anyone asks you how it ends, just LIE.

I do enjoy a good mystery.
I'm thinking this plot might be something along the lines of The Secret History by Donna Tartt. But maybe since it's for a younger demographic, it might be a little less heavy.
We Were Liars will be available on May 13th, 2014.
Are you intrigued? Would you pick up We Were Liars? or Have you read it already?
